The Girl in Question

Well i'm not doing a very good job of keeping this weblog upto date at all, am I?

So to update you briefly:

I have started working in my dream job on a freelance basis and all is good. I'm loving it, the people and the place and hope that I will do well there. In order to take this job, I had to take a major risk, and turn down a permanant year contract with a different sector of the company. I did do, to follow the dream man! But I am convinced I made the right decision .

Last week was rampacked with things to do. My project was in on Wednesday morning and i had to be in work in London by 10am. Now, being me, I only finished my project at 6am and then had to race for the 7.30 train. I proceeded to work the day and then go to the Sony Radio Academy Awards in the evening... all without any sleep. This was a fantastic event and involving a LOT of wine! Caught up with lots of people I knew, and met lots of cool new people. We were most distraught however when it reached 1.30 and the event bar shut, and the hotel bar refused to serve us without room numbers. What hotel bar does that?!? (they may all... i have no idea) Even our made up room numbers weren't helping, dammit.

Thursday at work involving me feeling a bit rough for a few hours, but then I was thankfully ok. Had an SRA Awards meeting in the evening before a bit of quality time in the Champion with Heids, Jeff & Miles, following that with some 2nd thursday action and some pizza express.

Friday, Martin showed me round BBC7 and Broadcasting House, which was aceness as I had been into BH a couple of times but not really seen much.

The weekend has just involved me dossing about.

Flathunting and revision starts today!

I'll update with something far more interesting that my life in action when I have time!

Cheerio all

Trixie xx

Oh and by the way, Pat I hope you have a good shop today x
