Heh drunken blogging = bad

Heh drunken blogging = bad

Drunken blogging when you're hysterically upset = even worse.

I think I'm just so terrified of being alone. I had my friends here, they were here at the drop of a button if I needed them. Now I'm going to be alone in London, at first with no where to live. When I find somewhere and Louise & I settle it will be fine, but I'm just so afraid of having no one there for me.

Oh lord I'm going to cry again.

The End

So thats it.

It's over.

Finito.

Lots of tears, everyone thank you. My inner circle (You know who the few of you are).. I love you and will miss you beyond belief.

It just all got made 1000 times worse by other things as well.

It's very hard to deal... People keep telling me, but you have an amazing job and new life... blah blah blah, but it doesn't really help. Warwick was a massive chapter of my life, while academically it may not have been top notch, it put me on the career path I am today, it gave me hopes and dreams, and it gave me relationships which made my heart beat and made it ache.

I really wish I could go home for 6 months, and then move to London and set up life. But I can't. I need to go to London now to follow the dream job route, and yes I should be feeling elated about it, but it damn well hursts.

Oh well, drunken ramblings, and I'm at work at midday.

#It's the end of the world as we know it...

And I really don't feel fine.

Take it.. take another little piece of my heart now

The trouble with making friends through societies/union execs is that your friends are spread across the years. Each year best best friends have left uni and its been hard.

Now in 2 days time I go... and there are some people I really don't want to leave behind :'(

Top Bananananana

Monday nights at uni supply the students with an ample helping of gash music, and they *love* it! Top Banana has been going for years, and for the last 2, I've had the pleasure of being the resident DJ for it.

Now the union isn't always the happiest of places to work, but its the love of the job, and the feeling I get when I play a new tune or a tune I love to people for the first time, and see them appreciate it that keeps me going.

Way back when in my first year, I remember the last Top B of the year turned into the Top Banana Top 40/20 (can't remember) countdown, presented by the then top b dreamteam of Pete Cuff, Porno Pete, Grant & our very own Pat doing random behind the scenes creative stuff.

So Rik & I have decided to bring this concept to a whole (well nearly) new Top Banana generation.

Monday week 10, we will be counting down the Top Banana Top 40 tunes of the year. We've created a shortlist of the 80 most played tunes, and we want you to pick your top 5 from them. Point your favourite browser at the Voting Page and send us your votes.

Do it for the monkey.

FIB 2004

Hey all

Most people seem to be going to Glastonbury this year, but I can't because I'm at work. I also didn't end up going to Homelands for the same reason. And I haven't been abroad since Ibiza 2001.

So imagine my delight when I came across this beauty - FIB 2004 in Spain.

My question is does anyone fancy it? I'm going to go and hope that some of my friends can join me. I'll email people but thought i'd pop it up on here for those of you who look

I'm not entirely sure what is going on, I need to find the magazine I read about it in, but you can read a translated version of the website here

As well as lots of people who I haven't heard of, the following are playing:

2Many Dj's, Soulwax, Air, Ash, Belle & Sebastian, The Charlatans, The Chemical brothers, Dandy Warhols, FC Kahuna, Felix De Housecat, Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, Kraftwerk, Lamb Chop, Lou Reed, Pet Shop Boys !!!!, Scissor Sisters, Serafin, Snow Patrol, Spiritualized

As well as theatre, art & fashion and dance over the 4 days.

So if anyone thinks 4 days away in spain is a good idea, let me know and we can get booking x
